Vitamin C - Helps increase osmotic pressure in the bowel to support colon hydration.

Magnesium Hydroxide - An essential mineral that relaxes muscle tissue and exhibits osmotic activity in the colon. Like vitamin C, magnesium helps pull water into the large bowel, hydrating the mucosa and easing passage of stool. The hydroxide form has been used for decades to help support healthy elimination in people of all ages.

Cape Aloe (Aloe ferox) – This species of aloe helps to promote bowel laxation and has been shown to provide anti-microbial and anti-parasitic activity. Our Cape Aloe extract is provided in the researched pharmaceutical strength, tested to contain a minimum 18% aloin content.

Triphala - Combines three antioxidant-rich herbs in one highly revered Ayurvedic remedy. Triphala is primarily used to help promote bowel regularity and digestive tone, but also has been shown to offer liver-protective and anti-microbial benefits.

Barberry Bark – A natural source of antimicrobial berberine; helps support healthy intestinal motility.

Turkey Rhubarb - Helps to gently stimulate intestinal smooth muscle contractions and promote peristalsis.

COLON SELECT® is designed to work overnight for the relief of occasional constipation. Suggested use is 2 capsules at bedtime, ideally taken with 8 ounces of water (provided sleep will not be disturbed by drinking this quantity before bedtime).

Note: Because bowel habits and sensitivities can vary widely between individuals, it may be desirable to begin with 1 capsule the first night and, if needed, increase to 2 capsules the second night. Dosage may be titrated up or down by 1 capsule per night until desired effects are achieved. This product is not recommended for use by women who are pregnant or lactating.
